SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the servers must interact with residents and ensure they have a great dining experience. Servers are responsible for positive resident interactions while serving residents in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our residents needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
- Staying updated on current menu choices.
- Handles directing residents to their tables, presenting menu, and communication specific resident needs to the cook.
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling resident’s needs, offering drinks, refilling glasses as requested.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as required or directed by supervisor.
- Filling in for absent staff as needed.
- Assisting with special events as needed.

The housekeeping attendant must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or bodily fluids
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
- Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, carpet cleaners, etc.
- Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
- Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas. Must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as required.
- Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.

- Liaise with Nursing Staff to ensure that residents dietary needs are being met at all times.
- In conjunction with the Kitchen Supervisor be responsible for ordering food.
- Supervise Kitchen Servers and ensure that they understand their duties, and perform them to a high standard.
- Ensure that the dining tables are laid correctly for meals and the dining room is clean at all times.
